Photography Guilt
Of not seeing the forest for the trees. (Among other things, I’m sure)
As I was uploading some more pictures from my shoot with Kerrie, I was writing comments about some of the photos that I liked. And I realized that some of the photos I liked and was commenting on, I liked for photographer-specific reasons. For example, I really like the lighting in this picture:

But the background kind of sucks, it was supposed to be white, I either took the pic before the flash in the back fully recharged or hadn’t set everything up correctly yet. And the couch is kind of weird, just coming out of nowhere. And I should do some post processing to make the dress more…”zing”. And there’s a funny shadow on her arm. And all sorts of things that I didn’t notice because I was too busy thinking “Look how neat my DIY ringflash looks!”.
